HEAR extended a grant to The Barnabas Project, an organization that supports people-focused agencies in the Chicago area, in order to send inner-city youth to a summer camp in Wisconsin. The camping program offers children facing difficult situations the opportunity to experience the fun, challenges, and peacefulness of camping. HEAR supported this effort in 2009 and 2010.
