HEAR Feeds Program

HEAR Feeds is a hunger relief program addressing issues of food insecurity and awareness in the Chicago area. To date HEAR has provided nearly 230,500 meals to those in need. Through this program, HEAR distributes high-quality fresh-frozen protein to food pantries and shelters located as far south as Calumet City, north to Waukegan, and west to St. Charles. See the reach of HEAR Feeds on the map below. The program piloted during Thanksgiving 2009 in Chicago and Detroit. Due to the tremendous response HEAR has run Feeds twice annually since. The most recent HEAR Feeds distribution was on Saturday, November 6, 2010. Thank you to everyone who joined us and volunteered to help get food to those who need it!
